Myst is back! (Again!) And so is Riven, for that matter. Two of the most influential adventure games of all time will be coming to physical media for modern consoles soon courtesy of Limited Run Games and Cyan Worlds. These are the original computer games you may remember from the early days of CD-ROM, but they’ve been remade to look and move like you’d expect from modern-day releases.

Yes, that’s right: move. Both games feature the same surreal worlds, photorealistic detail, and beautiful lighting that have always been synonymous with the Myst games, but in a more immersive form than computers were capable of handling more than 30 years ago.

Remakes of both Myst and its sequel, Riven, will be launching soon as standard physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox One/Xbox Series, as well in deluxe, retro-style Big Box Editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox One/Xbox Series, and Steam.
