Street art highlights Sonic’s iconic moments
The long-awaited Sonic X Shadow Generations statues continue to move through the manufacturing process and we’re getting closer and closer to the end of the stage!
We hope to share some more updates with you in the coming weeks and months, but in the meantime let’s look at some of the cool things taking place in the world of everyone’s favorite hedgehog, slow down and appreciate some other works of game-inspired art.
To help celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sonic, seven unique pieces of street art popped up along the streets of London during the month of June that showcased some of the Blue Blur’s most iconic moments.
Partnering with seven different European artists – Hannah Gillingham, Doaly, Alex Forrest, Liza Shumska, Andrew Swainson, Julien Rico Jr., and Bella Grace – the streets of Shoreditch (a section of London for those unfamiliar) brought Sonic and his adventures to life – bursting with colors and speed that seem to jump right off the walls.
While the street art has since been replaced in Shoreditch, the Sonic-inspired art is available to put on your own walls!
