You thought we were doing showing you the non-statue goods included in the Sonic X Shadow Generations box. Well, in the words of one B.M.D. Tannen: You thought wrong, dude.

There is one other piece of physical media included in the Generations collector’s edition. Limited Run Games may be in the business of preserving games physically, but sometimes we preserve other stuff physically, too! Such as compact discs. You know, for music!

Here’s what you can expect to see when you retrieve the CD from your collector’s edition box. You will retrieve your CD from the box, right? Open up the set, enjoy the contents, celebrate physical goods?

This right here? This is the back of the jewel case. Conveniently, the track listing is included on the back. This might be of interest to you, if you are a fan of “knowing things.”

Open the jewel case and lo! You’ll find the compact disc itself, along with some very nice printed art.

And here is the CD itself, free of its case, just so you can be assured that it is a real disc and not some kind of devious trick printed onto the insert. As for the music itself, well, that will have to wait until you hold the Sonic X Shadow Generations set in your very own hands….
