Even Peter Pan knows physical media is the best media…
Everyone remembers the iconic movie “Hook,” right?

The Steven Spielberg film is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026, and doing so by releasing a new, limited edition 4K Ultra HD + Digital SteelBook, which will be available from Sony on November 17.
The movie, starring Williams, Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook, Julia Roberts as Tinkerbell, Bob Hoskins as Smee, and Maggie Smith as Granny Wendy, was a hit among crowds when it was released in 1991, and has long been a fan favorite.
As if that wasn’t enough, the new SteelBook release also features a brand-new documentary that chronicles the making of the film. With behind-the-scenes footage, never-before-seen footage, interviews with the cast and crew, this hour-long documentary is only available in Physical form.
Williams presented a Peter Pan like never seen before, Hoffman played Captain Hook in a way that made the character jump off the screen, Roberts’ charm was perfect for the role of Tinkerbell, the entire cast adding to the movie’s allure and timelessness.
