Summer has come and passed, and we’re headed into a fresh final quarter at Limited Run. Here’s a rundown of what’s been going on with us:

LRG Retro Flea Market 2022

Looking for gaming treasure? You might find it at the second annual Limited Run Games Flea Market in Cary, NC. If you’re in the area, head to Limited Run Retail’s home at Macgregor Village shopping center from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, September 17th, 2022!

We will be hosting some great vendors and holding a Damages & Returns Sale inside our store and offering some of this year’s convention-special games for sale.

The (Final) Final Stretch—Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Vinyl OST

Pressings of the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Vinyl continue to trickle in and go out as we get them in and kit them out. In our latest update from our presser, after another machine malfunction last month, we have confirmed that an additional press is now up and running. Our next batch of vinyl (this one the largest yet) will arrive in the next few days.

Though the wait is almost through. We expect two or three more shipments of vinyl will cover everyone with an outstanding order. The presser has assured us this will occur over the next four weeks, though this is subject to change.

If you have any questions or concerns about your order, please open a support ticket, especially if you have ordered your vinyl bundled with another item in the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World collection. However, please note that this information is the same available to our support team, so they will only be able to accommodate actionable requests such as address changes.

We sincerely thank you for your patience and continued support as we navigated the challenges of such a big release in such an unprecedented period of time for manufacturing, logistics, and the vinyl industry at large.

Beauty in 8-Bits (or less)

For the homebrew homies out there, we’ve got two new Game Boy titles to add to your collection.

• First off is Phobos Dere .GB, a retro haunt where you follow a tortured scientist and his discovery of a haunted Game Boy cartridge.
• And we can’t forget Bub-O, the bubble-blowing creature whose peaceful nap is sadly interrupted in Bub-O Escape!

We love working with creators like these who keep these retro consoles alive. By supporting their projects, you’re helping them bring fresh blood to the platform and allowing indie creators the chance to let their stories shine.

Product Updates

Here’s a little round-up of some of your most anticipated items about to finish manufacturing. Get hyped, and stay tuned for more info as we move through the last quarter of the year.

STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC - Master Edition (Switch + PC)

• Two items remain in production before these Master Editions can be kitted out and shipped off: the Vibroblade Replica and the Strategy Guide. Both items are currently in manufacturing, so we expect these Collector’s Editions to ship within Q4 2022.

ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS / GHOUL PATROL - Retro Carts

• These retro carts are in production now that all licensee approvals have been completed. We expect these carts to finish, get kitted out, packed up, and sent out by the end of Q4.

AXIOM VERGE 1 & 2 - Collector’s Editions

• One more component left! Once we get the action figures in hand, we’ll have everything that went into these fantastic Collector’s Editions. We expect everything to get here, assembled, and out within Q4.

TOKI TORI Game Boy Collection

• The game boxes, shirts, and plush are all complete and either shipping to us or undergoing final inspection! We’re just waiting on the PCBs for the carts to finish up. We plan to have this game and all its merch out by the end of Q4.

Virtual Boy Works Collector's Edition & Super NES Works Vol 1. Collector's Edition

NOW SHIPPING! Two wonderful retrospectives titles by our own Jeremy Parish. These books are the definitive look back at the libraries of the beloved SNES (with more volumes to follow) and the Virtual Boy (also much beloved, at least by your blogger). Look for these in your mailboxes over the next few days and weeks!

Tik, tik, tik…the time is almost here! Copies of the Fatal Twelve Collector’s Edition are about to arrive at your door.
