Force Dash to the Limited Run Vault for Some Star Wars Deals
But remember: mind tricks don’t work on us... only money.
By The LRG Team
The Vault has opened once again! Is it another Seldon Crisis? No. That is not the science fiction saga on everyone’s mind today. We’re speaking, of course, about the latest Limited Run Games Vault drop, a refresh of our last-chance virtual sales event space. You should know the drill by now: we’re closing out the last stray copies of bygone games from our warehouse—meaning you have a chance to snag sold-out releases without those terrible aftermarket mark-ups.
Speaking of the science fiction saga on everyone’s mind today, you probably won’t be surprised to discover that today’s drop includes a couple of titles that have made their way back to our site from long ago, if not from a galaxy far, far away: Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. Artoo, can you bring up the schematics on those?

Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles
Standard editions (Switch, Xbox Series & PlayStation 5)
Perhaps the most traditional of all the games based on Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Jedi Power Battles is probably best described as an athletic super-powered beat-em-up. You play as various Jedi (including the popular ones, like Obi-Wan, and also the ones that no one knew about until The Clone Wars cartoons made the cool, like Plo Koon), so it wouldn’t really do to have a typical brawler where you walk slowly and punch the same thugs over and over again. Nah—here you run around, leap fantastically, slash everything in sight with your whirling lightsaber, and use the Force to wreck everything that gets in your way. It’s a good, old-school time.

Star Wars Bounty Hunter
Standard edition (Switch | Xbox Series | PlayStation 5) Premium Edition (Switch | Xbox Series | PlayStation 5) Master Edition (PC | Switch | Xbox Series | PlayStation 5)
Before The Mandalorian, there was this other Mandalorian: Jango Fett. A prequel to Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Bounty Hunter is one of the few games to properly delve into the criminal underworld of the Star Wars universe. There’s lots of dangerous folks out there, including nefarious death stick dealers, but you’re Jango Fett. You’ve got blasters and a cool ship and Beskar armor. You got this.
There are a ton of other games in this Vault drop worth checking out, too. For example, these next few aren’t Star Wars-related, but they’re definitely working in a similar sci-fi space.

Star Ocean First Departure
This high-tempo role-playing game never made it to the U.S. back when it debuted in the 16-bit era, but that oversight has been corrected, in style, with this updated remake.
Front Mission 2
Standard Editions | Collector’s Editions
This game also didn’t come to the U.S. back in the Super NES era! But now it’s here! Grab it and absolve the localization sins of the past.
Earthion
A special limited edition of the incredible new Sega Genesis shooter from the studio of legendary composer Yuzo Koshiro.
Here’s a few other games that aren’t sci-fi at all, but are very, very good.

Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return
Another super-limited release, this one for the sequel to Whoopee Camp’s cult-favorite adventure about a pink-haired, pig-biting wild child.
Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition
Standard Edition: Switch | PlayStation 4 | PlayStation 5 | Xbox Series Collector’s Edition: PlayStation 5 | Xbox Series | PC
The classic 3D action-adventure game about a courageous photojournalist and her best pal, a talking pig. Surprisingly, not related to Tomba!
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered
Switch Standard Edition | Switch Gallian Edition | Switch Ragnite Edition | PC Ragnite Edition
An upgraded version of Sega’s stylish tactical role-playing game.
Tomb Raider I • II • III Remastered
Standard Edition: Switch | PlayStation 5 | PlayStation 4 | Xbox One Collector's Edition: Switch | PlayStation 5 | PlayStation 4 | PC | Xbox One
You know Lara. You love Lara. You should revisit Lara’s first three games.
Honestly, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
